World of Warcraft gameplay

In World of Warcraft (WoW), you create a character and explore a vast world. You fight monsters, complete quests, and chat with other people. To play the game you need a subscription or a limited trial account. Select a server called a “realm” to start. Each area of the game has a different focus, with some focusing on quests and combat, others on role-playing.

Create your character by choosing a faction, race and class. As your character progresses, they gain abilities and skills, and can choose careers like tailoring or mining. Most gameplay involves completing tasks to gain rewards such as experience points, items, or money. You can play alone or team up with others to challenge.

There are areas for player versus player battles as well as battlefields with objectives and rewards. The game world has different locations, climates, and events, with transportation options such as flight, ship, or portal.

Towns provide facilities such as banks and auction houses for trading items. Players can form teams to enter dungeons or conduct raids against powerful enemies. Subscriptions or in-game tokens provide game time. Parental controls help manage gaming time and schedules, ensuring better control and monitoring of gaming time.

World of Warcraft plot

On the continent of Azeroth, two groups, the Horde and the Alliance, have formed alliances with different races. The Horde led by Thrall welcomed the undead of the Forsaken, while the Alliance led by Stormwind included dwarves, gnomes, and night elves.

A mysterious disappearance affects King Varian Wrynn of Stormwind, resulting in the temporary rule of High Lord Bolvar Fordragon. However, the black dragon Onyxia took control of his mind and disguised herself as a noble woman. The heroes discover Onyxia’s plans, and an ancient elemental lord named Ragnaros threatens both sides. The heroes defeated Onyxia and sent Ragnaros away.

In Blackrock Mountain, the black dragon Nefarian experimented with dragon blood and recruited the Dark Horde, a wandering army. Nefarian aimed to control the mountain, but was defeated by the heroes of the Horde and Alliance.

Followers of the blood god Hakkar attempted to summon him, but learned they could only do so in Zul’Gurub, the capital of the Gurubashi tribe. Hakkar took control of the situation until the Zandalari tribe intervened, halting his influence.

Behind the walls of Ahn’Qiraj lies the ancient god C’Thun, inciting the Qiraji to attack. The Force of Kalimdor, a mixed force of Alliance and Horde led by the orc Varok Saurfang, opened the Gates of Ahn’Qiraj and defeated C’Thun.

The Lich King spread the undead and gave his servant Kel’Thuzad a flying fortress called Naxxramas. The heroes attacked Naxxramas, weakening its defenses and defeating Kel’Thuzad. However, a traitor brought Kel’Thuzad’s body to Northrend, where the fallen lich could be resurrected.
