Marvel Contest of Champions is a video game featuring many of the heroes and villains from Marvel comics. These characters are called “Champions” in the game. When the game first launched in 2014, there were 26 champions, but now there are over 200! The game typically adds two new champions every month.
Champions are divided into different levels, from one star to seven stars, showing how powerful and special they are. There’s an energy system that limits the number of battles you can take part in, but it recharges over time. You can also compete against other players’ teams in one-on-one or three-on-three matches, but these opponents are controlled by computers rather than real players.
Controls are touch-based, with light, medium, and heavy attack, block, and dodge options. Each hero has special moves and abilities. You can level up your characters using ISO-8 and Gold, and rank them using Catalysts. The game features various in-game currencies such as coins, units, and battle chips that you can use to upgrade and purchase items. You can also join an alliance and participate in alliance missions and wars.
Marvel Contest of Champions offers different missions, including monthly storylines, events, and special missions to collect items. There’s also a dungeon mode where you can team up with other players to take on enemies and bosses, making choices along the way.
