Barrel of the Fallen King walkthrough

Lords of the Fallen has added new content since launch, with a recent update bringing a secret mission called “The Path of the Barrel.” In this mission, you’ll find a special NPC character and do different things to uncover secrets and earn rewards. First, you need to find the Bucket NPC. The place where they are located is called the Baptismal Basilica/Chabui Ruins.

You climb some ladders near the ruins, break some barrels, and find this man wearing a bucket. But before they can talk to you, you need two things: a broken bucket (you can find it where the NPC is) and an emote called “Bucket Lord Salute” (you can find it near the starting point). Once you have these, equip the broken bucket and make three expressions in front of the bucket NPC: greeting, pointing downward, and then the bucket lord salute. After that, talk to them and if you did it right, they’ll start looking for you.

Next, you need to find 12 items called “The Barrel Lord’s Pride” from different boss fights. After collecting four, return to the bucket NPC and give them these items. But be careful, if you have more than five, the NPC won’t accept them and you’ll miss your chance to complete the quest.

You’ll find these items in the arena where you fight the boss. The location of each boss is as follows:

1. Stricken Sister Therese – Pilgrim’s Habitat

2. Gentle Gaverus, Mistress of the Hounds – Pilgrim’s Habitat

3. Tenacious Divine Vibes – Pilgrim’s Perch

4. Crimson Rector Percival – Fitzroy Glen

5. Destroyer – Fitzroy Gorge

6. Hell Witch – Lower Calaras

7. Skinstealer – matte skein

8. Kinrangr Guardian Folard – Cold cursed fief

9. Griefbound Rowena – Cold Cursed Fiefdom

10. Eternal Defender – Manor of the Holy Brothers

11. Holy Carrion Knight Sanishaw – Tower of Penance

12. Ursuline Abbess – Convent of the Holy Sisters

After you obtain four Bucket Lords’ Pride, you will receive Bucket Lord Shoes. In the next four times, you’ll get the Barrel King Helmet. But for the last four hours, you won’t get anything from the NPC, just a “Find gold in the fire” message. Finally, to complete the quest, head to the ruins of Lower Carraras Beer House/Lydia the Numb Witch. Find a room with a special weapon called a Gilded Barrel. It’s an upgraded version of the broken bucket you had.

Lord of the Fallen gameplay

Lords of the Fallen is a game where you play a character in a large world. You use weapons and magic to fight bad guys, a bit like other games like Dark Souls. You can also play with others in the main story or battle them in player-only modes. To start, you can create your character and choose from nine different types.

The game world is huge, much bigger than the old game from 2014. There are two worlds in the game, Axiom and Umbral. Axiom is where the living are, and Umbral is where the dead are. You can move between these worlds using special lights.

If you die, you go to Umbral, and then you have to go back to Axiom to get back what you lost. But if you die in the Umbra, you’ll start over where you last saved, and you’ll lose some stuff you didn’t use. Saving in the game isn’t easy, but you can create your own save points using things you get from monsters in Umbral.
