How to get proof of humanity?
1.Final Boss encounter:
You need to meet the nameless puppet, the final boss of the game, to gain proof of your humanity. This can be accomplished through two different ending routes: “Escape the Puppet Line” or “The Rise of P.”
2. Get rid of the puppet line ending route:
- Choose Honesty: To go this route, always be honest when talking to NPCs, even in difficult situations.
- Tell Sophia the Truth: When talking to Sophia at the Skywalk, select the dialogue option “Let her live.”
- Encounter with Simon Manus: Later, you will meet Simon Manus at the Monastery of the Arc de Triomphe. Tell him, “I freed her from the Abbey of the Arches.”
- Give Your Heart: In Beneath the Abyss, Geppetto offers you the chance to become human, but requires you to give your heart. Select “Deny”.
- Defeat the Nameless Golem: After rejecting Geppetto, you will face the Nameless Golem. Defeat it and collect its Ergo.
- Exchange Ergo: Return to the hotel and meet the explorer Hugo. Trade the erg of a nameless puppet for proof of humanity.
3.The rise of P ending route:
- Choose Deception: In this route, you should lie in every conversation throughout the game.
- Give her peace: When talking to Sophia, select the dialogue option “Give her peace.”
- Simon Transforms into the Awakened God: Simon will transform into the Awakened God.
- Defeat Simon: Defeat Simon, the Awakened God, and obtain the Golden Lie Weapon.
- Same exchange: continue meeting Geppetto beneath the abyss. Defeat him and trade his Erg for Proof of Humanity, the same way as the previous route.

In “The Lie of P,” you play as Pinocchio from a third-person perspective. You explore the city of Kratt, fighting biomechanical enemies using a variety of weapons including swords and axes, while being able to dodge and block attacks.
Pinocchio’s robotic arm can be customized with gadgets like a grappling hook or a flamethrower. Diverse weapon and crafting system offers 30 weapon types and 100 combinations.

The lie of P development
According to director Choi Ji-won, “P’s Lie” was announced by Korean publisher NeoWiz in May 2021 and has been in development for about three years. The Pinocchio theme was chosen to appeal to a wider fan base, inspired by the dark tones and diverse elements of the original story.
The game is set in the Belle Epoque environment, reflecting a city’s transformation from wealth to decline, symbolizing a period of cultural prosperity and darkness.
