Guide to the Cold Curse Fiefdom

1. Starting point

First, you need to fast travel to the Marco Ax Ruins (Mangrove Windmill) in the abandoned mangrove area. This location can be identified by its distinctive door with a bell. You can enter this door using the fief key provided by Andreas of Weber. You can get the key by chatting with him or finding the items he left for you at Tianxi Bridge.

2. Inside the cave

Once inside, head to the ramp and deal with the Corrupted Pilgrim and Primal Slaughterer. Look for weapons – a splitting ax and a map of the Cold Curse Fiefdom near the entrance to the cave.

3. Overcome obstacles

You’ll come across a blocked path inside the cave. Move to the shadows to find a wall corpse and skin its soul to open a path forward.

4. Deal with the enemy

After overcoming the initial hurdle, you’ll enter a room filled with eggs (soon to be relics) and cursed wombs. Defeat them and continue your journey.

5. Explore further

As you continue forward, you’ll encounter a Corrupted Penitent and a Primordial Hammer on the road, as well as a Corrupted Pilgrim on a raised path. Frostbite cures are hidden in wooden utensils.

6. Emerging statues and hidden threats

Continuing along the path, you’ll come across an Emergence Statue. Watch out for the Silencebringer hidden in the crate in Shadow Mode.

7.Boss battle

Exiting the cave, you’ll find a small flooded area where a boss fight awaits. The main boss is Kinrangr the Guardian, who wields a giant two-handed axe. He can inflict cold damage and frostbite, but he is controllable. The challenge, however, comes in the form of his accompanying golden spaniels, who can also cause frostbite. A flooded arena limits your ability to move, so consider transitioning to Shadow for more space, although it introduces a false aspect.

8. Victory rewards

After defeating the Kinrangr Guardian, you will receive rewards, including 8,150 Vitality, Relic Seeds, weapons – Kinrangr Guardian Axe, and Kinrangr Guardian Pants. In Shadow Mode, you can find wall corpses nearby and Soul Skin them to get the Ancient Chisel.

9. Explore the courtyard

Climb the nearby slope to reach a courtyard with pillars. Here you can observe Shadow Wash x2 and find the relic. Activate Svanir Ruins (Cold Cursed Fiefdom).

10. Find the ladder

To continue your journey, find a locked door and a ladder on the right side of the room. Climb the ladder, grabbing loot along the way, and reach the ledge above.

11. Snowy Road

After leaving the man-made area, you will enter a snowy road. Deal with the Kinrangr Hounds, then continue looking for a blocked wooden bridge. Clear out the Kinrangr hounds and search the ruins for Tinct – Lawless.

12. Facing the enemy outside the door

As you approach the far gate, you will be attacked by Kinrangr Hounds and Kinrangr Hunters. The Kinrangr Hunter is agile and can turn invisible, making combat challenging.

13. Forward

Climb the ladder to the left of the gate and drop down to the path behind the gate to find an Emergence Statue and a Shadow Flower Bed if you wish.

Lord of the Fallen gameplay

Lords of the Fallen is an action-packed role-playing video game that immerses you in a third-person perspective. Like its predecessor, it offers a choice between melee weapons and magic to fight opponents, drawing inspiration from the challenging combat in Souls-like games.

You can even team up with friends to tackle the game’s campaign and engage in player-versus-player multiplayer battles for extra excitement. As you begin your adventure, you’ll have the opportunity to choose from a variety of character classes to create your own unique character.

The game world is vast, much larger than the 2014 version, and particularly interesting because it combines two realms: Axiom (the realm of the living) and Umbral (the realm of the dead), which you can traverse using mysterious lanterns.

Despite sharing the same space, the two worlds differ in accessibility, adding a layer of depth and strategy. When your character dies, they find themselves in the Umbral and need to return to Axiom to regain their lost experience points.

But if you die in the Umbra, you will restart at the last save point and lose all unused experience points. Each area has relatively few save points, but you can choose to craft your own using materials collected from shadow creatures, making your choices and strategy play a key role in this fascinating interconnected game world.
