That film gives us much of the knowledge we have about the Sith during this era and is the foundation for the High Republic era in general. 2 We meet a Sith stronghold during the High Republic era

But the biggest clues about the Sith in the High Republic actually come from Star Wars Legends and great features of their knowledge transplanted to the canon. The legends provided a lot of information about the Sith under Darth Bane’s Rule of Two leading up to the prequel era, and much of that information has been gently canonized in various sources. Plagueis’ presence isn’t as likely as Tenebrous’s, but it’s still a possibility, especially considering how popular and iconic the character is, and how Plagueis is much more canonical than Tenebrous.

The history of the Sith, especially during the time of the High Republic, is largely a mystery in canon. Star Wars. But there are definitely little hints throughout the saga that can take the new story in the right direction. However, due to the specificity of some of this established data, it will be interesting to see how fluidly The acolyte deals with the complicated task of fitting into an already established part of the Star Wars timeline.
